Key Ring integrated loyalty cards, offers, and retailer data into a single consumer experience that scaled to 15 million users. The platform’s personalization and ad-tech systems were driven by data integration across dozens of retail partners. Acquired by Gannett in 2012.

Billions of records nightly, from dozens of upstream sources, processed through one optimized pipeline. The system powered churn prediction, acquisition, and inventory optimization across the business. The core problem, turning massive, noisy, uneven data sets into an asymmetric advantage, is the same one I’ve been solving ever since.
